CASA NAVEGANTE ★★★★★

In the Casa Navegante, or ‘Sailing House’, you will enjoy the tranquillity offered by nature, the beauty of the aurora and the sunset in the Amazonian forest. It sails from Amacayacu National Park up to Puerto Nariño. The house has two floors, the first one equipped with a double bedroom, two sofa-beds, cable TV and private bathroom with hot water. The accommodation is for maximum of 5 people. The ground floor offers a fully equipped kitchen, 9 hammocks, six tanning chairs, dining room and resting room. The house also has solar energy, electric plant, radio communications, 2 kayaks, and satellite boat to explore small rivers.

HOTEL AMACAYACU ★★★★

The Hotel Amacayacu is located in the Amacayacu Natural National Park, on the edge of the Amazon basin. The Hotel Amacayacu has seven malokas (named after indigenous houses) with private bathrooms with hot water, ceiling fans, mosquito nets and yanchama curtains (light wood fibre curtains), with a balcony overlooking the river. The park also has two boarding houses of shared rooms with a total capacity of 42 and communal baths that include 6 toilets and 6 showers, for men and women.

DECALODGE TICUNA ★★★★

The Hotel Decalodge Ticuna is a modern resort in Leticia city, surrounded by the Amazon eco-system and only 5 minutes from Vasquez Covo airport. The hotel has 28 rooms, equipped with minibar, cable TV, air conditioning, fan, and a terrace. With primitive style architecture, the cabins have a capacity of 1-4 people with a king-size bed or two double beds; bathroom with shower and hot water and safety box. The Decalodge offers internet and telephone access, activities for children and adults, laundry service, and medical services.

ECOLODGE PALMARI NATURAL RESERVE ★★★

This natural reserve is three to four hours from Leticia, on the Javarí river, on the Brazilian side of the Amazon. It offers three cabins and four bedrooms with private bathrooms, as well as a ‘maloka’ and an ‘enramada’ for overnight stays in hammocks or beds with a communal bathroom. The reserve offers guests Internet access, a restaurant, a living area with hammocks ideal for reading, a library specialised in biology texts and a shop with local artisan work. Packages include three meals, as well as activities such as jungle walks, fishing, night caiman observation, visits to indigenous communities, sightings of rubber extraction and kayaking. Sport fishing, bird watching and jungle expeditions can be organised upon request.
