HATO EL CEDRAL

Hato El Cedral, a 53,000 hectare working cattle ranch is known as a nature reserve for its extraordinary variety of wildlife. Over 350 bird species have been identified, as well as reptiles and mammals such as the capibara, the world's largest rodent, deer, anaconda, monkeys, crocodiles and many others. It is crossed by three rivers –Río Matiyure, Río Arichuna and Caño Caicara- and has a 140 km road system. 25 chalets (cabañas) offer air conditioned singles and doubles with ceiling fans, a hammock, private bathrooms and hot water. The common areas offer an indoor dining room and outdoor bar and swimming pool. Packages include full pension and daily excursions with bilingual guides.
