Lake Titicaca
HOTEL INCA UTAMA & SPA ★★★★★
Located on the banks of Lake Titicaca, Hotel Inca Utama introduces guests to Andean culture through different attractions within the complex. There is the Altiplano and Kallwaya Museums, Eco-village and astronomical observatory. The hotel itself offers 65 rooms divided in two buildings. Rooms feature such amenities as private bathrooms with a bath and shower, a telephone, electric blanket, coffee machine, and a balcony or terrace. The Spa is complete with saunas, mud and salt baths, a Jacuzzi, and offers traditional, natural Andean treatments. The hotel also offers two restaurants and a cosy bar-lounge with sofas and a fireplace. The newer restaurant has a thatched roof and is built over the water offering spectacular views.
POSADA DEL INCA ECO LODGE
At the top of Sun Island on Lake Titicaca is located the charming and cosy Posada del Inca Lodge. The beautifully restored colonial-style hacienda sits on unspoilt land surrounded by nature and the panorama of Lake Titicaca. The island has been declared a preserved archaeological heritage and can be reached by Hydrofoil cruise. There are 20 rooms available that all feature private hot water bathrooms, heating, electric blankets and spectacular views of the lake. A lounge-bar complete with fireplace welcomes guests along with a rustic restaurant and another restaurant featuring an Inca-style terrace.
